Setup for Pico Interactive
1. Android Configuration
Android Module
- Open Unity Hub.
- Click on
Installs
- Click on the three dots icon and select
Add Modules
- Select
Android Build Support
- Click
Done
to start the installation
Build and Player Settings
- Go to
File > Build Settings...
- Select the
Android
Platform and clickSwitch Platform
- Click on
Player Settings
- Under
Other Settings > Rendering
enableAuto Graphics API
- Under
Other Settings > Identification
- set
Minimum API Level
toAndroid 7.1 'Nougat' (API level 25)
- set
Target API Level
toAutomatic (highest installed)
- set
- Under
XR Settings
enableVirtual Reality Supported
2. Download
- Download the PicoVR Unity SDK from the PicoVR download page
- Import the Pico SDK package into your Unity project.
3. Settings
VRee SDK Settings
- Open the
VReeSDK
scene fromAssets > Scenes > VReeSDK
- Go to
VReeSDK > Settings
to open the VRee SDK settings in the inspector - In the
Settings
field, select thePico Settings
- In the
Player Settings
verify that underScripting Define Symbols
"USEPICO" has been automatically entered.
4. Building to PicoVR
- Connect the Pico VR headset to the development PC
- Go to
File > Build And Run
- Enter a file name and click
Save
5. Server and Client connection
- Connect the PicoVR headset and the development PC to the same network
- Run the application on the development PC by clicking the play button in the Unity Editor
- Run the application on the PicoVR headset
